This is a free, comprehensive set of math instructional resources and materials at the primary school level from the Mathematics Enhancement Programme (MEP). The MEP is designed to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics by offering a structured and well-thought-out curriculum. These resources include lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments (reviews or revisions) aligned with the curriculum objectives.
The Lesson Plans were taken from the Hungarian method for mathematical instruction. The first few weeks of each grade-level course include introductory tasks to evaluate the student’s skills and provide a basis for further structured instruction. We advise using a blank workbook when using the practice book.
The courses build a solid mathematical groundwork by covering subjects in detail, in a logical order, and using proper notation. This curriculum aims to improve national exam scores and offers a solid basis for higher-level work by providing a foundation in mathematical logic.
